The Barn
The Barn has been the social centerpiece of LPEC from the beginning. Barns, like this one, once served many purposes as the pieces of the past that adorn the walls of this nearly century-old structure suggest. That tradition continues as it can easily be transformed from cozy and casual to formal elegance with crystal, flowers, crisp white linen and lace. Stained glass windows make the twinkling lights draped along the ceiling sparkle like fireflies throughout, and they spill out onto the wisteria-covered arbor just outside. A stone fireplace and Tiffany-style lighting add to the festive mood here. A cozy, corner stage area for acoustic ensembles and a warming kitchen help you host and entertain up to 150 seated guests.
Situated on five scenic acres in East Columbus, The Barn at Lake Pines is the perfect rustic setting for corporate meetings, department events, summer outings or Christmas parties. Or book The Barn for your next family reunion, birthday, retirement party or wedding reception. Give your event the charm of the unique country surroundings of The Barn at Lake Pines.

The Pavilion’s view west, paired with spring’s and fall’s splendor, make your dream of a sunset wedding a reality.
Surrounded by nature, The Pavilion is a beautiful, romantic site for outdoor weddings. Cedar shakes and a copper-covered cupola top the stone and wood structure.

The Lillie House
This 19th-century home is adorned with Ionic columns and signature white picket fences on the exterior and fluted, Corinthian columns and a pastel palette in the interior. Named for four of the proprietor’s female matriarchs, it’s a genteel setting for bridal luncheons, showers, and teas with seating for 45 and a large serving kitchen. It also makes a great place for you and your attendants to gather and prepare yourselves for that special walk.
The Lillie House is an early 19th century shotgun-style house which was moved in the spring of 2003 from an Alabama brickyard to its present location at Lake Pines. Renovation was completed the following spring and the Lillie House now serves as a venue for wedding receptions and other formal events.
